All new dinner show serves up Western fare, saloon-style performance and 1880s folklore in Mesa
The Howdy Show and Dinner Extravaganza opens at Rockin’ R Ranch in November

MESA, Ariz. — Hollywood production company Miziker Entertainment Group will unveil a completely new “rib ticklin’, knee slappin’, hand clappin” experience called The Howdy Show and Dinner Extravaganza this November in Mesa.

Keeping with tradition of providing quality, Western-style hospitality and entertainment, Miziker’s The Howdy Show and Dinner Extravaganza takes the audience back in time to the raucous gold mining camps of the 1880s. The experience includes pre-show entertainment with bar service at the Saloon followed by the raucous show. Various courses of the dinner are served throughout the show by servers who are also part of the cast. Kitty McGuire and her traveling troupe of talented performers utilize their musical and comedy talents to lead the audience through a fun-filled ninety minutes, in a saloon-style performance where audience participation is spontaneous.

“We at Miziker specialize in creating extraordinary visitor experiences through dimensional storytelling,” said Bobby Miziker, president of Miziker Entertainment. “With Rockin’ R’s existing Western town as the backdrop, we are able to create an all-new, unique experience completely immersing the audience in 1880s spirit through the setting, food and interactive show.”

A fixture in the Mesa community since 1984, Rockin’ R Ranch has, over the years, drawn some 2 million visitors to its lifelike Western town near Baseline and Power Roads. Under founders Mary and Jim Robson, the ranch served up chuck -wagon suppers, live country bands and staged Western shows. Miziker Entertainment Group’s renovation is giving a facelift to the new property with new props, furniture and an enhanced menu of Western fare and all the "trimmings.” Generous portions of chow plus beer, wine or a specialty non-alcoholic beverage are included in the $34.95 ticket price.

The Howdy Show’s plot and storyline take a snapshot into life during the Gold Rush era of the 1880s and the pioneer history that is close to home for Mesa with so much of the legends and lore based just east of the city in the Superstition Mountain region.
